Isabel, the teenage daughter of Annie Idibia and Innocent Idibia known as "2baba" has taken to social media to voice her displeasure with the way her parents were portrayed in the Netflix reality TV series Young, Famous, and African.

Live on social media, the legendary singer's daughter discussed the role of her parents after they appeared on the TV show.

The 15-year-old claimed that the way her parents were represented was entirely inaccurate and that she would be called a child if she tried to stand up for them.

Isabel continued by saying that because her parents had lived together, she knew more about them than most people, whereas netizens primarily obtained their knowledge from the internet or social media.

She continued by saying that although she can't alter how other people see her parents, she does want them to know that they will never know the full story of everything that has ever happened in her family.

Isabel concluded by expressing her displeasure with the way her parents were portrayed on Young, Famous, and African, saying it was an inaccurate and incomplete depiction of them.

She said: “I don’t like the way my parents were portrayed in Young, Famous and African, the way they were portrayed was just so wrong. Whenever I try to back my parents up and say that’s not what happened everyone is like ‘how would you know? You’re just a child’ How would you know? You’re not in my family, your knowledge is based on stuff that you see on Safari, Instagram and social media. I know it because I’ve been in the household with my parents. I can’t change everyone’s perspective on social media because they will always think what they want to think but they will never know the actual true story or background of anything that has ever happened in my family or anything that has happened before I was even born. I don’t like the way my parents were portrayed, it wasn’t the best image and it wasn’t completely accurate.”
