'I didn't expect it to be this massive' - Hilda Baci thanks Nigerians for supporting her

Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, who has been in the news recently for breaking the Guinness World Record for 'Longest Cooking Time' has expressed her gratitude to Nigerians for they supported her in their numbers.

In an interview on Channels TV, monitored by MyNigeria, Hilda stated that the support she has received from home has been nothing short of overwhelming.

She said: "I have been overwhelmed with love in a very good way. I didn't expect it to be this massive but I'm very grateful for the opportunity."

When asked why she chose to be mainly be a chef and a restaurant owner over all the things she could do professionally, she disclosed that passion drew her there.

Hilda has been known to be a multi talented woman who has also worked as a television host.

She responded: "I wouldn't call being a chef or a restaurant owner settling, honestly. This is something that I've always wanted to do.

"Even while I was a TV presenter... not to say I am no longer a host, because I'm very capable of doing it.

"I needed to focus on this aspect of my life, the business aspect, you know. Even when I was on TV, what I did was host a cooking show."
