Popular Nigerian TikTok feminist, Stephanie Judith, has stirred reactions online after sharing her strong views on marriage and motherhood.
In a video making the rounds on social media, Stephanie stated that while many women aspire to get married, raise children, and build families, she has no interest in that path. According to her, marriage holds no appeal, regardless of circumstances.
She went further to say that if she were ever faced with a choice between marriage and death, she would choose death without hesitation.
"I'd rather be dead than be married. If by any chance I was faced with the options, marriage or death? My dear, I'm walking straight to my own death. You will marry my cups," she said.
Explaining her stance, Stephanie noted that she does not place much value on her life and is largely unbothered by societal expectations. She stressed that her decision has nothing to do with the quality of men available, stating that whether a man is good or bad, her refusal to marry remains unchanged.
While she acknowledged that she can maintain friendships with men out of basic human connection, she made it clear that she is not interested in any relationship that could lead to marriage.
She also revealed that she has no desire to have children, adding that she would rather die than bring a child into the world.
Stephanie’s bold declaration has sparked mixed reactions online. While some users applauded her honesty and respected her choice, others expressed hope that she might reconsider her views in the future.

@innofrica__"That is her choice. Not everyone is called into the vocation of marriage and it is absolutely OK. The most important is to be happy. Life is too short to put people in a box. Though am an advocate of marriage but everyone has a choice and it is ok to chose singlehood."
@haNzo_DowMaker___"I don't blame her. After all, if you go through a whole stress of putting out something reasonable online, it won't trend. Big accounts wont evn repost. So the best thing to do it talk rubbish to trend. And its really working for them."
@JustAnuboy___"The day she tries to change her mind against this decision, make God take her."
@_EdenJohnson___"The issue is you talking so boldly and seriously as if any man in this world values you more than he values his ATM, that chilled, a foamy and a plate of nkwo'bi.
You not as important as you think, unfortunately"
