'I can't wait to be a mother' - Toke Makinwa

Media personality cum Nollywood actress Toke Makinwa has expressed her desire to have a child.

The 39-year-old divorcee shared this on Sunday, March 10, 2024 while celebrating Mother's Day with her goddaughter on Instagram.

Toke Makinwa noted that even though she wasn’t the biological mother of her goddaughter, she is glad being a part of her life and she is hopeful that she would have her own child very soon.

She wrote, “I cannot wait to be a Mother, I know it’s in the cards for me and it’ll happen soon. Till then I’ll celebrate my first ever Mother’s Day as your godmother.”

Toke Makinwa in 2015, filed for divorce from her estranged husband Maje Ayida after learning that he had impregnated his ex-girlfriend.

The actress asserted in 2023 on her podcast 'Toke Moments' that if she had a child with her ex-husband, she wouldn't have ended their marriage.
