Popular Afropop musician Spyro has expressed his Christian beliefs in response to Nigerians criticizing him for his performance at a church Christmas carol.
Musician and Harvesters International Christian Center senior pastor Bolaji Idowu was earlier hauled by Nigerians.
It seems like a lot of people were offended that a non-religious artiste who performed secular songs was invited to perform in a church.
Spyro made it clear that he is a fellow human being and ought to be permitted to take part in church-related events.
The singer claims to have been a member of Harvesters Church for more than seven years and to be involved in two departments.
In addition, he declared that he is a devoted Christian who regularly visits a recognized church, despite holding Nigerian citizenship.
Taking to his socials, he wrote: “Just saw myself and pastor B has been getting dragged because I did a drama ministration I’m church Let me make something’s very clear!!
