Guchi set to release new single tonight

Nigerian ‘Afrofusion’ singer, Ugochi Lydia Onuoha, known in the music space as Guchi, has disclosed the release of her latest single dubbed ‘I Swear’ later tonight.

The emerging vocalist, Guchi, collaborated with talented Nigerian award-winning songstress and Effyzzie Music Group queen, Yemi Alade.

Guchi disclosed that as most of her songs come with dance moves, Nigerians should also watch out for the latest dance moves that accompany this new single of hers.

Guchi envisaged that ‘I Swear’ will do magic and make more waves as compared to that of ‘Jennifer’.

She is optimistic to one day perform in the O2 arena, which has seating for 20,000 audiences and features concerts by the world’s biggest stars.

Guchi was introduced to the fundamentals of music creation and performance as a young chorister in her church choir, which prepared her to join the league of outstanding talents to emerge from Africa in the year 2020.

She is acknowledged as one of the pioneers in defining Tiktok as a hugely influential instrument for talent discovery and music distribution in the wake of the success of her hit song ‘Jennifer’.

Her style of music features catchy melodies, emotive lyrics, and vocals with a wide range of melodies, all of which have contributed to her long-lasting success.
