Gospel singer Funke Glorious has expressed her sincere regret for accusing Yinka Alaseyori of copyright infringement before her fans and fellow musician.

The singer apologized on Saturday, June 24, in a video that was posted again on her Facebook page.

Recall that earlier last week, Funke claimed that Yinka had plagiarized her lyrics and that her song, "Jesu ti Nazareti," did not belong to her.

In March, Yinka released the song "Jesu ti Nazareti" which according toFunke was stolen from her.

Funke went on to say that Yinka is not a song writer but rather a "various gospel artiste" who steals other people's lyrics for her own songs.

However, Funke in a recent video apologized for the accusation stating that she has always been a "die-hard fan" of Yinka.

The video was captioned, “I FUNKE GLORIOUS Acknowledge that I was overwhelmed by my emotions hence I uttered words that were handed over to me in a good light and for this act of mine, I’m deeply sorry!

“Minister Adeyinka Alaseyori is like a sister to me, I have always been supportive and a die-hard fan before the misunderstanding surfaced.

“I do not wish for her fall, neither am I envious of her. LET PEACE REIGN.”
