Five years after the tragic death of his wife, popular gospel singer Dunsin Oyekan is set to remarry.

According to reports, the gospel singer is engaged to his fiancee who remains anonymous.

The couple hopes to tie the knot by the end of 2024.

“He has introduced her to some of his spiritual fathers and mothers in the Lord,” broadcast journalist Lara Wise revealed.

The revelation will likely end his rumored romance with another gospel singer, Victoria Orenze.

Rumors emerged after the popular Facebook group Rant HQ published a picture of Victoria Orenze and Dunsin Oyekan with the caption, "What if...?".

Dunsin Oyekan's impending nuptials place him in the company of other gospel musicians including Theophilus Sunday and Moses Bliss who got married in 2024.

“As far as I know, Dunsin is engaged; she is a very quiet lady who is not in the limelight. That was last year. He’s taken her to meet some of his spiritual fathers and mothers in the lord,” Journalist Lara Wise wrote.

Millions of fans on and off social media were shocked when Dunsin Oyekan revealed he lost his wife in 2019. Despite the tragic loss, Dunsin has produced successful singles and albums.

The musician shared how he overcame his wife's passing during a worship session at a church where he was invited to minister.

Dunsin Oyekan claims that after losing his wife in 2019, the song "I'll be here" from his most recent album was a special message for him.

He said: "This song came in pain. I lost my wife almost 2 years ago in the middle of tears, in the middle of pain. The only person I could run to was God, and I said to the Lord on one of those days, “I will be here lifting hands even when it doesn’t seem easy”.

Dunsin Oyekan and his late wife Adedoyin had two children before her passing in 2019.
