Popular self-proclaimed financial expert, GehGeh, has lashed out at Nigerians who expressed excitement over former U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent threat to send American troops to Nigeria.
Trump’s viral statement, which circulated widely on social media, claimed he was considering military intervention in Nigeria over alleged killings of Christians.
Reacting to the development, GehGeh condemned those celebrating the idea, describing it as “a dangerous and unpatriotic mindset.”
According to him, Nigeria’s problems are not beyond what Nigerians themselves can fix, warning that foreign intervention would only worsen the situation.
He referenced Libya’s experience, where U.S. military involvement led to chaos and long-term instability, as a cautionary tale for those supporting Trump’s threat.
“Nobody loves Nigeria like Nigerians,” GehGeh declared in a viral video.
“Anyone rejoicing over foreign troops invading our land doesn’t understand history. This is not help, it’s an invasion of a sovereign country.”
The outspoken commentator went further to accuse some Nigerians of using the situation to fuel division, adding that celebrating foreign interference was “a reflection of ignorance, not patriotism.”
In a related development, GehGeh recently sparked online conversations after analyzing the reasons behind Wizkid’s success, a video that also trended widely across social platforms.
