Controversial Nigerian media personality Chinedu Ani Emmanuel popularly known as Nedu Wazobia has got social media buzzing these past few weeks with some contentious comments on his “the honest bunch podcast.”

The media personality who is best known for his controversial statements, usually comes under heavy criticism and ridicule immediately he releases a new episode of his podcast because of its contents.

This article will highlight some top five statements made by the media personality on his podcast that had people talking.

1. There is no love in Lagos

Nedu recently made waves on social media after stating on his podcast that real love is difficult to find in Lagos, precisely Lekki state.

During a most recent episode of “the honest bunch podcast which was shared on Monday, May 8, Nedu claimed that being in a relationship in Lagos is "transactional" because it involves trading one thing for another.

Nedu stated that contrary to Lekki, when you go to places like Gombe and Zamfara, one is likely to easily find love.

2. Female Big Brother Naija housemates go on show for customers

Somewhere in January 2023, the on air personality elicited conversations among Nigerians after stating that the ladies who participated in the famous Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) show, only did that to attract more "customers".

According to Nedu most ladies go to BBNaija because they are hungry and hence have only their "vagina" to offer.

He said: "It is vagina most of them have to offer. They intentionally go there just to get customers.”

Nedu came under heavy backlash following his comments. Former housemates also
rebuked him for making such ill comments about BBNaija ladies.

3. Side chicks give men peace of mind

Nedu during one of the episodes of "the honest bunch podcast' also disclosed that side-chicks give married men peace.

According to him most men put up with their nagging wives because of the peace of mind their side-chicks give them.

This also elicited diverse reactions from social media as some agreed with him while others opined that it wasn't true.

4. Popular Lagos Island pastor sleeps with his female members

Nedu again made an explosive revelation, this time implicating a prominent Lagos pastor whose church is located on the Island.

According to the media personality, the popular clergyman, whose name he chose not to disclose, has been engaging in sexual affairs with female members of his church.

Nedu claimed that he received the information from a friend who had attempted to initiate a romantic relationship with a female member of the church but was turned down.

He further revealed that the pastor in question and his wife take turns preaching on the church’s altar.

This also saw the media personality come under attack as many stated that he is fond of chasing clout and always wants to be in the news hence his constant controversial statements.

5. Many ladies don't wear bras anymore

The media personality recently lamented the rate at which many women are ceasing to wear bras anywhere, let alone in public.

Nedu recounted instances in which he observed numerous women in malls without bras.

This also ignited reactions among social media users with some saying that it isn't a huge thing if women stop wearing bras since it is uncomfortable for them to do so.

Others also stated that women ought to show some respect for other people by dressing modestly in public.
