Five Nigerian celebrities above 40 years who got married in 2022

Love is a beautiful thing, and anyone who finds a lover has find a good thing, goes a popular saying.

However, some celebrities are not left out in this love experience. So far this year, celebrities, particularly those in their 40s are not just finding love but committing their lives to it.

From the music industry to the movie sphere, older celebrities found the love of their lives, and surprisingly, took daring steps by walking to down the aisle with their partners.

MI Abaga
The 41-year old veteran rapper, Jude Abaga popularly known as MI Abaga, and his fiancee Eniola Mafe, traditionally tied the knot in September, 2022.

The couple, who had earlier in the year announced their engagement held the wedding in Lagos, and it was graced by friends, family and Nigerian celebrities who took time to celebrate with the couple.

Rita Dominic

The 47- year-old Veteran Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic officially became the wife of Nigerian publisher Fidelis Anosike, yesterday, 26th November, 2022.

The lovebirds, Naija News, learned held their grand-style wedding in North Yorkshire, England.

This is coming months after the actress and her hubby shut down Imo State with their star-studded traditional marriage.

Despite the elaborate traditional wedding, Rita Dominic and Fidelis hosted their families, friends, and colleagues for their white wedding.

Mercy Aigbe

On Sunday, January 23, 2022, renowned Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe made headlines after she shared photos of her married partner, Adeoti Kazim, who she tied the knot in a Muslim marriage ceremony.

The Edo-born script interpreter, according to reports, married a man who had four children in his previous marriage, and was said to have abandoned his wife in Minnesota.

The mother of two celebrated the businessman with interesting notes on her Instagram page, amidst backlash from fans who expressed disappointment following the marriage.

Yul Edochie

The last child of seasoned veteran actor Pete Edochie, Yul Edochie, joins the list of celebrities who got married to their partner in 2022.

Yul Edochie, who is married to May Edochie with 4 lovely kids (3 boys and a girl) confirmed on social media that his colleague turned baby mama, Judy Austin bore him a child which spore him into making her his second wife.

Taking to his social media, Yul announced: “It’s time for the world to meet my son.
His name is STAR DIKE MUNACHIMSO YUL-EDOCHIE. Born by my second wife @judyaustin1
And I love him so much, just as much as I love my other children.”

Yul Edochie and Judy Austin have been a pair for a while now, as he always directs movies she produce.

It was during one of their shoots that their relationship kicked off, then one thing led to another Judy Austin became pregnant and had the baby boy last year.

47-year-old Frederick Leonard recently tied the knot with his long -time partner Peggy Ovire amidst bliss and well-wishers.

The lovebirds exchanged their vows in the presence of family and friends on Saturday, 19th November in Warri, Delta State.
