'Expect more corruption if Tinubu is sworn on May 29' - Charly Boy reacts to Seyi Tinubu's $11m mansion

Nigerian activist and singer Charles Oputa better known as Charly Boy has opined that Seyi Tinubu, the son of President-elect Bola Tinubu, purchasing a $10.8 million property in London is just the beginning of the unprecedented corruption that Nigerians will witness if Tinubu is sworn in as president on May 29.

According to reports, the President-elect's son's company purchased a $11 million property in London, in 2017, which President Muhammadu Buhari's administration attempted to seize as part of an investigation into one of the greatest corruption scandals in Nigerian history.

Charly Boy responded to the allegation on his Twitter account on Wednesday, May 3, saying that if Tinubu is sworn in as president and assumes office on May 29, Nigerians will witness historic corruption.

The musician said Nigerians should be ready for the worst if Tinubu is sworn in as president.

Charly who shared screenshots of the allegations leveled against Seyi wrote: "We never see anything. If INEC select president succeed enter May 29th, we go see Shege Banza."

Charly Boy's tweet garnered numerous mixed reactions from social media users.
