Media personality Toke Makinwa is embracing a new chapter of her life, one that comes with a name she never expected to love so much.
The media star, who welcomed her first child in August 2025, shared that motherhood has completely transformed how people address her.
According to Toke, her identity in public spaces has quietly shifted from “TM” to something more heartfelt “Mummy Yaya.”
She revealed that the change catches her attention every time, adding a Yoruba expression to show her amusement and joy:
She wrote, “No one calls me TM anymore… Everywhere I go it is ‘Mummy Yaya’… Omo mi so mi l’oruko tun‑tun,” expressing joy over the new affectionate title.
