Evang Ebuka Obi speaks after claims of staging fake miracle with actor, Mr Ibu

Evangelist Ebuka Obi has addressed allegations that he planned to stage a miracle with ailing Nollywood actor John Okafor who is better known as Mr. Ibu.

Recall that a traditionalist accused Mr. Ibu of misleading the people by putting on a phony miracle act at Ebuka Obi's church. He added that he was also happy that Mr. Ibu had had his leg amputated, which he attributed to his involvement in deceit.

Obi responded by speaking to his church and dispelling the false assumption.

He clarifies that the actor arrived on his own, despite rumours to the contrary that he invited Mr. Ibu to his church. Ebuka Obi claims he has never heard of Mr. Ibu because he never even watches movies.

He said that until someone brought up the actor's attendance at church, he was unaware that Ibu was a celebrity.

Regarding the purportedly staged miracle, Ebuka Obi declared that neither did Ibu beg for his prayers for recovery, nor did the actor offer a testimony at Zion Ministry's altar.

He continued by saying that Mr. Ibu's only worry was his lack of stability in his finances, to which he responded charitably by giving him some cash.

The pastor continued by criticizing the many untrue myths that were propagated about him by others in an attempt to get attention, drawing comparisons between his situation and that of the late preacher T.B. Joshua.
