Davido’s ‘Timeless’ gets one million streams in six hours

Davido recently released album ‘Timeless’ has garnered one million streams on Boomplay in just six hours after it was released on the streaming platform.

The album is also reported to be topping 17 Apple charts across the globe. It is currently the No. 1 album on Nigeria’s Top Albums Chart, UK’s Top Albums Chart.

Davido announced the release of the 17-track album on his social media pages in the early hours of Friday.

He talked about the process he went through from his previous album to the latest and also gave Chioma Rowland, his wife, a shout-out while appreciating his fans and people who ensured the completion of the project.

“At long last – WE are back. The journey from my last album to this album has been a whirlwind to say the least,” Davido wrote on Twitter.

Singles from the ‘Timeless’ album also topped Sierra Leone’s Apple Music Songs Chart, from number 1 to 17.
