Davido reportedly gives Mohbad’s family N2 million; netizens react

According to reports, Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, commonly known as Davido, has donated N2 million to help the family of his late colleague, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Ayoba, generally known as Mohbad.

The 27-year-old musician passed away in Lagos State on Tuesday, September 12, and was buried in Ikorodu, Lagos, on Wednesday. Family, friends, and sympathizers wept as they attended the funeral.

The Nation reports that Mohbad's father, Joseph Ayoba, relayed the touching news that Davido had not only gotten in touch with the distraught family but had also generously supported them.

Before beginning his performance on Wednesday night in Manchester as part of his Timeless tour, Davido also paid tribute to Mohbad.

Dami Adenuga, a social media influencer, corroborated the claim, saying, “Mohbad’s father just said Davido sent somebody to him with N2m.” Davido mehn, God bless you.”
