Nigerian singer Davido generated a buzz on social media after meeting legendary artist Bright Chimezie, whom he said inspired his hit single "With You," featuring Omah Lay.

Videos that emerged on social media showed both men smiling and laughing as Davido welcomed Chimezie to Lagos. The meeting was a joyful occasion as they caught up and celebrated the union of two generations of Nigerian music.

Earlier, Davido had placed several calls to Chimezie, informing him that he was inspired by his classic song, "English for Key."

In a heartwarming phone call, Davido expressed his admiration for Chimezie’s work.
