Nigerian disc jockey and music star, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has shared her heartfelt thoughts on the importance of marriage following her younger sister Temi Otedola’s elegant wedding to Afrobeats artiste Mr Eazi.
Taking to her X page, Cuppy described marriage as a sacred and powerful union, drawing inspiration from witnessing Temi exchange vows.
She wrote:
“Call me old school, but I see marriage as the most powerful partnership in life. Maybe even the most important contract you will ever sign… with God Himself as the witness 😇✍🏾.”
In her reflective post, Cuppy explained that seeing Temi become Mrs Ajibade served as a reminder that marriage is not outdated but rather a pathway to deeper purpose when shared with the right partner.
“Seeing my baby sister Temi become Mrs Ajibade reminds me that marriage is far from outdated. With the right person, it pulls you closer to purpose and builds love, family, and legacy,” she added.
Temi and Mr Eazi, who had been together for eight years before saying “I do,” tied the knot in a private yet graceful ceremony attended only by family and close friends.
Cuppy, who has previously opened up about her hopes of finding the right partner, used the occasion to highlight marriage as more than just a romantic commitment but a lasting partnership rooted in love, faith, and shared values.
