Former BBNaija winners Laycon and Whitemoney have sparked online debate after a video surfaced showing them being openly criticised over how they spent their reality show prize money.

In the clip, an unidentified man accused the duo of disappointing fans who voted for them to win, alleging they invested the winnings into music he described as substandard.

He claimed supporters expected long-term success from them after the show, but felt let down by their musical output.

Throughout the criticism, Laycon and Whitemoney remained calm and expressionless, choosing not to respond as the remarks continued. Their silence quickly became a talking point on social media.

While some fans wondered if the scene was staged or just “cruise,” others felt the critic crossed the line and showed disrespect.

However, a section of viewers agreed with the criticism, arguing that both reality stars have failed to fully capitalise on their BBNaija wins musically.
