Several high-profile Nigerian celebrities have openly declared their support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the country heads toward the 2027 general election, aligning themselves with pro-Tinubu advocacy and mobilisation efforts.

Prominent businessman and socialite Obi Cubana formally backed President Tinubu’s re-election bid by accepting the role of South-East Coordinator of the City Boy Movement, a political support group linked to the president’s campaign.

The business mogul confirmed his new role on social media after receiving the appointment certificate from Seyi Tinubu, the president’s son, during a visit to his Abuja residence.

Also voicing his endorsement is Nollywood actor Bolanle Ninalowo, popularly known as Nino B, who was recently appointed Atlanta Coordinator for Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), a pro-Tinubu advocacy group aimed at mobilising support in the United States diaspora.

The talented actor shared the development with fans on his official Instagram page.

As more entertainment personalities become vocal about their stance, Kehinde Adams, widely known as Lege Miami, was seen in a video with other prominent personalities publicly praising President Tinubu’s economic reforms and urging continued leadership into 2027.

The entertainer highlighted achievements such as fuel subsidy removal and economic policy shifts as reasons for their support.

Alongside Lege Miami, veteran actor Saheed Balogun joined in the public show of support, adding further momentum to the celebrity backing ahead of the elections.

Meanwhile, nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest has also publicly declared his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the country prepares for the 2027 general election.

The social media personality drew attention after joining businessman Obi Cubana during a visit by the South‑East City Boy Movement to Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma, where he aligned himself with pro‑Tinubu advocacy efforts.

According to reports, Cubana Chief Priest explained his decision by stressing that backing the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and Tinubu gives him a better platform to influence key issues from within government, especially regarding regional concerns such as the detention of IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

He reiterated that his political stance is firmly with Tinubu and the APC as he prepares for deeper involvement in the 2027 political landscape.

The growing list of entertainers and influencers lending their voices reflects a broader trend of public figures engaging in political advocacy as Nigeria’s next election cycle approaches.
