Confusion over Oladips’ death prank as friend releases video of him eating

The recent announcement that Nigerian rapper Oladips is still alive has come as a shock to fans and internet users.

Recall that the management of Oladips announced the rapper's death on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, via his Instagram profile on Wednesday, November 15.

Following the tragic news, Qdot, a close friend and colleague of Oladips, insisted on Thursday that the rapper was still alive and refuted the death claims.

Sharing a picture of Oladips on his Instagram page, Qdot wrote, “@oladipsoflife, my gee is alive.”

His claim elicited a range of responses; some questioned the accuracy of the details, while others conjectured that Oladips might have "faked" his demise in order to promote his album, "Superhero Adugbo," which had just been released a few hours before.

Even Nollywood actress Bukunmi Oluwashina who happens to be the rapper's bestfriend, deleted a tribute he paid to Oladips on her Instagram account.
