'Chop life before you chop the grave' - Reno Omokri five star advise to followers

Reno Omokri, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has encouraged his followers on social media to embrace life before it is too late.

The political commentator wrote in a post on his X account that as "life is fleeting, people should make the most of it while they still have it."

Mr Omokri entreated people to savor the present before they "endure" in their graves because tomorrow is never certain.

According to him, people should pursue their happiness, as their children cannot inherit their unlived lives in the same way that they did not inherit their parents' unlived lives.

He wrote: "Life is perishable. Therefore, the quicker you consume life, the better for you: chop life before you chop the grave. Enjoy today before you endure in your coffin. Your children cannot inherit your unspent life, just as you did not take over your parents' unlived life after they died. So do that thing that you love doing today. Tomorrow is not promised to you and I."
