Nigerian influencer and entrepreneur Laura Ikeji has come under public attention following reports linking her husband, Ogbonna Kanu, to an alleged affair scandal.

According to unverified reports circulating online, Ogbonna Kanu allegedly told a 23-year-old woman who had just relocated to Nigeria that he was single. The claims suggest they dated for about eight months and became intimate, with further controversial allegations continuing to trend online.

The report also claimed that one of the woman’s friends later identified him as being married to a public figure and provided proof. When confronted, he allegedly stopped communicating after traveling, and when she later tried to reach him again, she was told he had died.

Adding to the controversy, alleged explicit images linked to the footballer have reportedly surfaced online, further fueling discussions.

Amid the backlash, Laura Ikeji shared a post on Instagram promoting her brand, a move that drew attention from many Nigerians who flooded her comment section seeking a response.
