Blaqbonez plans to release project, same day as Davido's, fans advise

Nigerian act Emeka Akumefule also known as Blaqbonez took to social media to express worry that his eagerly anticipated album would compete with that of his senior colleague David Adeleke popularly also known as Davido.

On Tuesday, March 21, Davido announced the date of the release of his new project, "Timeless," on his social media platforms.

According to Davido, he will be releasing his fourth studio album on Friday, March 31, 2023.

Following Davido's announcement, Blaqbonez also used his Twitter account to complain that Davido's album release date conflicts with his emphasizing that no one can enjoy anything in Nigeria's music industry.

He wrote: "Damn. can’t enjoy anything in this industry"

Many people reacted to the singer in his section as they advised him to never be afraid and go ahead with his plans.

Some, however, urged him to postpone his release date so that he doesn't compete with the superstar.
