BBNaija star accused of defrauding people desperate to get into reality show

Big Brother Naija reality show star, Eric Akhigbe has been accused of defrauding people, promising them a slot on the reality show.

According to Baby C, a Nigerian singer who fell for the allege scam, she was scammed of millions by the reality star after he promised to facilitate her entry into the BBNaija house.

She claimed to have paid him N5.3million to facilitate her entry into the BBNaija house.

She further explained how the reality star with the help of another person allegedly duped her.

“When an ex-BBNaija housemate scams me of my N5.3m and used it to relocate to the UK. People way i call my brother. Omo people wicked.” Baby C said during a chat with newsmen.

“Eric was my friend. We were in the same department in the University of Lagos and we were close to an extent when he got final confirmation that he was going to be in the house. I was one of the first persons he called and he asked me to support him. I formed a group and raised funds for his campaign.”

Baby C noted that the case is currently under investigation, with one person in SCID Panti custody, adding that Eric’s parents have been called to stand in for him to pay the money back.

“If that fails, the UK embassy will be informed and they will take necessary action against him,” she stated.
