Adunni Ade and Murphy Afolabi

Nollywood actress Adunni Ade has come under fire for allegedly owing late actor Murphy Afolabi, who passed away, N250,000.

This information was disclosed on Monday, May 22, 2023, during the 8-day Fidau Prayer held in Murphy's honor.

The burial committee asserted that before the deceased's passing, Adunni had borrowed money from him for a movie project.

They also urged the actress to give the money back.

The comittee said: “Adunni Ade please return the N250,000 that you are owing the late Murphy Afolabi.”

Many social media users were astounded by the news and also urged the actress to refund the money to the family of the deceased as it is a bad omen to owe the dead.

However, others opined that, the manner in which the committee went about asking the actress for the money wasn't right.
