Actor Jide Kosoko remembers 1st wife 30 years after her death with emotional note

Veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko has paid tribute to his first wife Alhaja Sherifat Abimbola Kosoko, 30 years after her passing.

The seasoned actor uploaded a vintage black and white photo of his late wife on Instagram along with a long statement in which he expressed his heartbreak about losing her thirty years ago.

Jide Kosoko revealed that Alhaja Sherifat, who passed away, was his first love and the mother of his older children. He continued by describing the impact her passing had on him and their family.

The actor also talked about how he lost her in 1993 and how she brought him and their kids joy.

He wrote: “Death! is usually like rumour to us until it comes to someone very dear and precious to one! When I lost you in 1993 to the cold hands of death, it was not a pleasant experience for me because you serve as my source of joy and happiness and that of your children too, you played a central and a vital role in the balance of the home even thou I got along few years after your demise, certain events & circumstances always trigger your loving memories.”

However, Jide Kosoko pointed out that despite his first wife's passing, he is aware that she is constantly with him in spirit.
