Edo Politician's pregnant wife, Queen Igbinevbo raped and murdered in Benin

Mrs Queen Igbinevbo has been found raped and murdered at her home in Benin after attackers came searching for her husband, Comrade Promise Igbinevbo.

The attackers are said to have came in search of her husband, a Governorship campaign coordinator, but met his absence.

Queen Igbinevbo was discovered dead by neighbors who were worried that they had not seen her in a while.

A source said: "When we could not see Queen, I came to check if she was fine, because she lives alone, we met her naked, blood and foam was coming out of her mouth. There was semen all over her body.

"We had to call her husband who is staying in another place."

Another source revealed that days before the attack, strange men were noticed patrolling the street.

The incident has seen a crowd stage a protest at the Edo State Police Command headquarters demanding justice for the deceased.

Three persons are said to have been arrested in connection to her death.
