NNPC, Total, to construct Infectious Disease Hospital in Borno

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and its partners have begun the construction of an Infectious Disease Hospital in Borno.

This is part of Nigeria's Upstream contributions to the Oil and Gas Intervention of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The groundbreaking ceremony was conducted by a representative of the Chairman of PTF on COVID-19, Sen. Dr Adeleke Mamora; Representative of the Minister of State of the Ministry of Petroleum Resources & Permanent Secretary; Group Managing Director of the NNPC, Mele Kyari and a Representative of the Managing Director of TOTAL Upstream Companies in Nigeria.

The facility to be constructed therein will contain 150-200 spaces.
