Amazon cancels subscription fees of books for children

Amazon, the world's largest online marketplace has canceled subscription fees of books and audio stories for children following the outbreak of coronavirus.

This is coming after the spread of the deadly virus forced several children to quit school and sit at home.

It promised to entertain, teach and keep young minds active.

"For as long as schools are closed, we're open. Starting today, kids everywhere can instantly stream an incredible collection of stories, including titles across six different languages, that will help them continue dreaming, learning, and just being kids," the e-commerce giant said.

It said the stories are free to be streamed on any device. It also encouraged kids to explore the feature.
