Former Roma forward Roberto Pruzzo has urged his former club to sign Nigeria international Ademola Lookman during the current January transfer window.

Pruzzo believes Lookman’s time at Atalanta appears to be coming to an end and has advised I Giallorossi to make a move for the former African Footballer of the Year.

According to Pruzzo, a loan move for Lookman would be mutually beneficial for both the club and the player.

“Roma should sign Ademola Lookman, maybe on loan. His adventure with Atalanta seems to be coming to an end,” Pruzzo told Radio Radio.

“With a purchase like that, Roma could really start dreaming. It would be the right move to close the season and have fun from now until the end of the season.”

Lookman came close to leaving Atalanta last summer after Inter Milan showed strong interest in his services, but the proposed move ultimately fell through.
