Super Eagles forward Akor Adams marked his return to Sevilla with a remarkable performance in the Spanish La Liga.

The 25-year-old scored a brace as Sevilla played out a 2-2 draw with Elche away at the Estadio Martínez Valero on Monday night.

Adams came on as a second-half substitute to draw his side level after they had conceded two goals in the first half.

He reduced the deficit in the 75th minute before scoring the equaliser from the spot in the 93rd minute.

Adams has now registered five goals and two assists in 15 appearances for the Rojiblancos.

The former Montpellier striker also enjoyed an impressive campaign for Nigeria at the recently concluded Africa Cup of Nations.

He scored two goals and provided two assists in seven appearances for Eric Chelle’s side.
