Uzoho to miss Super Eagles next encounter against Sierra Leone in June

Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho will not feature in Nigeria's next game in the Nations Cup qualifiers against Sierra Leone in June.

The Omonia Nicosia shot-stopper has been suspended following his 92nd-minute booking for time-wasting in Nigeria's 1-0 win against the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau on Monday, March 27.

Uzoho, who will serve a one-match suspension due to card accumulation will miss the game in Freetown.

The Super Eagles number one received his first booking for the same offence against Sierra Leone at MKO Abiola Stadium last year.

Uzoho is likely to return to the post against Sao Tome and Principe in the Super Eagles final game in the qualifiers.
