Okocha and Sam Allardyce recreate iconic 2003 dance move in viral video

Jay-Jay Okocha and Sam Allardyce reproduced their iconic on-the-pitch dance from 2003 at the University of Bolton Stadium on November 13, 2021.

Sam Allardyce coached Okocha and the Bolton All Stars XI against the Bolton team last year in a charity game played in support of Gethin Jones’ mother, Karen, who had been diagnosed with Motor neurone disease.

The duo danced together 19 years ago following Bolton's defeat against Middlesbrough in their final game of the season to maintain their Premier League status.

The 13,000 fans at the Stadium loved the dance and the legendary Okocha noted that the game brought back fond memories.

“It’s great to be back, I’ve got some fantastic memories of this place and it’ll always be in my heart,” Okocha said as per the SUN.

Okocha spent four seasons at Bolton (2002-2006) making 124 appearances and scoring 14 goals.

The skilful midfielder who was the fans' favourite also became the team's captain.
