Former Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has picked Arsenal as favourites to win the English Premier League this season.
Pardew believes Mikel Arteta's side will lift the title ahead of Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.
Speaking on talkSPORT, the 64-year-old stated that the Gunners will end their over two-decade wait for the Premier League title if they can remain unbeaten until April.
“I think the points total they’ve got is enough of a cushion,” Pardew said.
“When you look at Man City, they have lost five matches already. I don’t think they can lose six or seven.
“So, for me, it will be Arsenal. The Premier League will be decided in April.
“For Arsenal, if you can remain undefeated until April, you will win the league.”
The Gunners are currently five points ahead of the Cityzens; however, Pep Guardiola's side have played one game fewer.
