Sky Bet Championship side Hull City have received a massive boost following the return of Semi Ajayi to the squad.
The 32-year-old Super Eagles defender was sidelined with a hamstring injury in January after the Africa Cup of Nations.
The former West Bromwich Albion defender has missed more than seven matches for Hull City.
However, the club’s assistant manager, Dean Holden, has disclosed that the Nigerian defender has returned to the squad ahead of their match at Portman Road.
“We’re fine, we’ve got a couple of bumps and niggles from the weekend,” Holden told Hull Live.
“Everybody’s come through unscathed, and we’ll welcome Semi back into the squad, which is a big boost for us.
“He’s been out for a decent amount of time since that AFCON game. He’s not had loads of training, but he trained again this morning (Monday), looks fine, and he’ll come back in, so that’s a big boost.”
Ajayi last featured for Hull City against Millwall in December before leaving for AFCON.
