Deontay Wilder better than Anthony Joshua - Tyson Fury

Tyson Fury has rated Deontay Wilder ahead of Anthony Joshua whom he's preparing to fight next year after agreeing on a two-fight deal.

Recall that Fury defeated Wilder early this year to become a two-time world heavyweight champion.

He's currently preparing to battle Joshua for the IBF, WBA and WBO belts which will make the winner of the fight the Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion.

“Deontay Wilder is the second-best heavyweight in the world,” Fury told Queensbury Promotions YouTube channel.

“I believe he knocks Anthony Joshua out and everyone behind me.

“Everybody else out there, I think he knocks them out because me being a master boxer and people think ‘just go forward on Deontay Wilder now you knock him out’.”

This comes after his father, John Fury, stated that Anthony Joshua will be defeated by his son in the first round when they meet.

“Anthony Joshua will think he’s fighting an eel in cold water, he won’t be able to touch Tyson, and he will hit him that hard his heart will go,” John said.

“It will be a more relaxed night than Deontay Wilder.

“I will retake all bets; in the first round Tyson will come out jabbing, slipping and sliding and bang! Joshua will fall to pieces after the first right hand because he will know he can’t beat this man.

“I’m not just saying that because he’s my son, I tell it as I see it; they’re all terrified of Tyson.”
