Bright Osayi-Samuel ruled out injured, set for weeks on the sideline

Bright Osayi-Samuel is down with injury and will miss some weeks of action for Fenerbahce.

Osayi-Samuel is said to have picked the knock during Fenerbahçe’s Turkish Cup match at home to Çaykur Rizespor in a last 16 encounter.

He was replaced by William Arao in the 80th minute of the game as the result of the injury.

The RB will have a scan on Monday to determine the extent of the damage, as well as how long he’ll be out for.

Meanwhile, the injury comes as a setback for both Fenerbahce and the player, who has been impressive this season.

He has been linked with interest from some Premier League clubs including Crystal Palace and Southampton.

According to a Turkish media outlet, As Marce, Palace are prepared to pay €11.3m for the Nigerian.

The 26-year-old has two years left on his current deal and has made 15 league appearances this season.

Fenerbahce are placed second in the Turkish Super Lig – four points adrift leaders Galatasaray.
