Veteran Nollywood actor turned politician Kenneth Okonkwo has stirred up social media following a viral interview clip in which he humorously attempted to link political figures through names starting with the letter "A" while taking aim at the ruling administration ahead of the 2027 general elections.
During the interview, Okonkwo who is a key spokesperson for the Labour Party nd its flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar, argued that names beginning with "A," such as former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, embody progressive leadership traits, remarking that "Atiku Abubakar is for affordability."
However, the lighthearted segment took a comical turn when the presenter pointed out that "Ahmed" is also part of President Bola Tinubu’s full name.
Upon realizing the connection, Okonkwo immediately exclaimed, "Eiii, you have just fowled this situation," to the amusement of viewers.
Following the slip, Okonkwo shifted to a sharp critique of the current administration, expressing frustration over the economic hardships facing Nigerians and questioning the trajectory of the country as political actors begin realigning ahead of the 2027 presidential polls.
"I don't know what we did to God for Tinubu to become our president. Oh God, we are sorry," Okonkwo remarked.
The video has since generated intense reactions online, reflecting the rising political tensions and sharp criticisms from opposition figures as parties gear up for the upcoming 2027 electoral cycle.
