Lille defender Alexsandro Ribeiro says he is looking forward to facing Victor Osimhen ahead of their UEFA Champions League clash against Galatasaray.

Osimhen will return to his former club for a crucial UEFA Champions League clash at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy on Wednesday, October 20.

The 27-year-old left Lille to join Napoli in the summer of 2020 and has since gone on to become a world-class striker.

Both Lille and Galatasaray will head into the game in search of their first wins of this season’s Champions League campaign.

Osimhen missed Galatasaray’s Champions League opener against Sporting CP and was kept quiet on his return against Barcelona in their second game.

Ahead of the clash, Ribeiro said he was looking forward to his battle against Osimhen.

“Yes, I’ll be playing against Osimhen. It’s going to be a tough match for us. It will be a bit of a battle between the two of us,” the Brazilian told the media ahead of the game.
