Former Turkish striker Ahmet Dursun has lashed out at Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen, describing the Nigerian international as a selfish player.

Dursun labelled Osimhen as a player who puts his own interests ahead of the team.

According to the former Turkish international, Beşiktaş’ Dušan Vlahović is currently the best striker in the Süper Lig, ahead of Osimhen.

He described the former Juventus striker as a player every midfielder would want to play with.

“In my opinion, Vlahović is by far the league’s best striker,” Dursun said, as quoted by Tivibu Spor.

“Osimhen is so selfish, a player who plays for himself. He’s starting to harm both himself and his team. Every midfielder would want to play with Vlahović.”

Osimhen has scored six goals and provided three assists in six Süper Lig appearances for Galatasaray this season.

Vlahović has also registered six goals in six appearances for Beşiktaş, with no assists to his name.
