Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen produced another remarkable performance for Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.

The 26-year-old proved why he is considered one of the best strikers in Europe with a stunning hat-trick against Eredivisie giants Ajax.

The Nigerian international scored the opener in the 59th minute before adding the second from the spot in the 66th minute.

The ex-Napoli star completed his hat-trick in the 78th minute as the Yellow and Reds dispatched John Heitinga’s side at the Johan Cruyff Arena.

Osimhen has now scored five goals in his last two UEFA Champions League appearances and is the top scorer in the competition with six goals in three matches.

The former African Footballer of the Year has surpassed the likes of Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé, Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane, and Manchester City’s Erling Haaland on the top scorers’ chart.

The trio have each netted five goals in four appearances in the competition this season.
