Presidential spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, has warned critics of President Bola Tinubu never to shade or mock him, as he's the Jagaban.
Onanuga made this statement in response to a post on X by Tinubu critic Kalu Aja, who criticised the President for proposing tax reforms.
According to Aja, "You open your mouth waaaah..'I want to reform taxes'... no base outside SW. Learner."
Aja shared the post to suggest that Tinubu won't succeed with the reform because he lacks the necessary political support from other regions to achieve his goal.
However, on Thursday, nearly a year after his post, Tinubu signed the tax reform bills into law after the National Assembly passed them.
With the signing, Tinubu proved to his detractors that he always achieves whatever he sets his sights on.
Reacting, Onanuga shared on X, "Kalu Aja and co must have learnt some lessons: Never shade or mock the Jagaban. He means to do whatever he proposes to do."
