We clearly saw the truth of supremacy of Oni over Alafin of Oyo when the new King was about to be enthroned,the sword of authority was delivered to Alafin from Ipetumodu a suburb town of Ile -Ife who collected same sword of authority from Ooni of Ife.
So if Alafin is higher in throne than Ooni why will he needed to collect sword of authority from Ife trough Ipetumodu before he was enthroned.Politics is their problem
