  Peter Obi did not say he will stop mid night prayers rather introduce night shifts which means creating employment that will create productivity .
  Most people that have time to attend midnight prayers in churches are people seeking solution to their problems.
  If somey is gainfully employed,he will reduce prayer time rather than spending twelve hours praying.
  Peter Obi means we'll for Nigerians and should not be misquoted or misunderstood.

  He is not talking prayer out of church, many pastors have taken the work time to be their worshiping time, why? Why worshiping on week days by 7am - 1pm taken the work period to go to church, is it the church that is paying them it's a sin when you don't work and you been paid. Weekly activities should be in the evening and not in the morning. And vigils should be weekend not in the week days for many may be tired and will not go to work or go to work to be sleeping.
  If any curses the one Good blessed the curse will return to him moreover we are not called to curse. Prayers can be done anywhere, all the time could be in your mind, thought, silently anywhere any time by an individual even at home, and within your work place fellowship centres at a management agreed time which will not be between the hours of 7 - 12 noon. I think that's what Mr President is saying. Point of correction Obi didn't loose 2023 election......

  I feel pained when men of God preach out of emotions. Any man of God that walks in this path lacks understanding. Understand that all those people that are currently going for night vigils pray for job you'll understand that they automatically organize themselves to work and night vigils will reduce. Ghana Pastor, God is a mercy but is also a righteous judge. The hand that doesn't work doesn't deserve to eat.
  Worship God because of your love for Him and for who He is. I got my job after I tarried for 5yrs but today I can't stand 2hrs vigil. Please Peter Obi is on course we need God but you need blessings to serve God and one of such channels of blessings are the works of our hands.

Obi wants his congregation to be productive in order to get money for the pastor's tithe. Without being productive, how can they pay your tithe sir ?

How does night prayer of a religious organization now be compare to the poor and corrupt leadership of a country? How does it affect productivity. He wants to promote the kingdom of darkness and weak the faith of people

The don't attack other religions even Muslims that go to mosque on Fridays, work days but attack Christians that go to vigil after their work. Anyway, I trust the God of the church and their gates of hell can never prevail against the church. Matthew 16:18

  I KNOW A PASTOR WHO DROVE HIS MEMBERS AWAY FROM CHURCH TO GO AND FARM, DURING FARMING SEASON SOME MEMBERS WENT TO CHURCH FOR PERSONAL FASTING AND PRAYERS, BUT THE PASTOR SAID NO, YOU CAN'T BE HERE FASTING WHILE OTHERS ARE LABOURING IN THEIR FARMS, DURING HARVEST TIME YOU PEOPLE WILL NOT HAVE SOMETHING TO FALL AT.
  MANY OF THEM BECAME ANGRY WITH THE PASTOR, BUT THOSE WHO REALIZED THE TRUTH FROM THE PASTOR'S ADVISE RETURNED HOME WITH JOY DURING THE HARVEST.
