ASUU finally reveals how Nigerians should vote in 2023

The general election scheduled to take off in February, 2023, has seen several individuals and groups throwing their weight behind their respective presidential candidates.

Recently, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has appealed to Nigerians to vote for a candidate who believes strongly in the values of education.

The national president of ASUU, Professor Emmanuel Osodeke made this known in an interview on Monday, January 2.

According to him, the to avoid industrial actions in the next administration, it is important to vote for a candidate who will invest in education.

He noted that education helps the growth of a nation however, the current administration failed to believe in it.

"The motivation for development for any government is an investment in education, especially tertiary education,“ Osodeke said.
