Emir of Kajuru, Alhassan Adamu was abducted on Sunday, July 11

The abduction of the Emir of Kajuru, Alhassan Adamu came as a shock to many when it became public knowledge.

The monarch was kidnapped by bandits in the early hours of Sunday, July 11 alongside 13 others.

An N200 million ransom has been demanded to facilitate his release.

A spokesperson for the Kajuru Emirate Council, Dahiru Abubakar, while giving an update to newsmen on Monday, July 12 said the bandits gave assurances that all the victims were in good condition and not being molested.
