Dolphins getting hunted at Dolphin Estate, Lagos (Video)

A social media report has it that dolphins are getting hunted at Dolphin Estate in Lagos.

According to Twitter user Dorian Gray, the dolphins had returned to the water along Dolphin Estate, which is how the estate got its name.

They came back due to the lockdown period only for them to be hunted which was why they stopped plying that route for a long period.

He tweeted: "Dolphin estate is so named because it was a major route for dolphins migrating to the south African coast. The water was shallow enough for people to go in and pet the dolphins. They stopped coming because they were hunted. They came back because lockdown. Alas hunted again.

"We are a wonderfully myopic people with no sense of research or ability to want to learn".
