Segun Awosanya Segun Awosanya

Human rights activist and End SARS Convener, Segun Awosanya, also known as Sega link has cleared the air, saying that he is not an activist people term him to be.

He said he is just a human being advocating for Equity, justice and fairness.

Making a case for Bill Gates and Toyin Saraki, he praised them for their power of vision.

"These are just a few things I learnt from Distinguished Bill Gates who is also a controversial figure since the 1980s but everyone he is intelligent, wise, surrounds himself with the very best of minds and he listens to them. Unlike our rulers who view intelligence as a threat.

"In the past 8years, Bill Gates has been heavily involved in fighting epidemic diseases around the world, especially in Africa. He is not a medical doctor or even a Professor at that, but his works speak for him in that sector. This is what we mostly deem as fraud in Nigeria," the renowned activist said.

Urging people to be emancipated from mental slavery, he urged his followers to do meaningful work and solve global needs.

"Only you can emancipate yourself from mental slavery. Stop chasing clouts and do meaningful work regardless of what is in vogue or who is watching. There is no need for cameras to be roiling all the time to capture your good deeds, let your work speak through the people!

"Impact lives and influence your society positively and be assured that you will live on in the hearts and minds of the people through generations long after you are gone. We are all unique in one thing or the other, tie this to global needs and pursue it passionately," Sega wrote.
