Buhari confirms three key appointments

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has confirmed three key appointments.

During the plenary session that held today, the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan read a letter from the President confirming the appointment of Captain Musa Shuaibu Nuru, Dr. Kingsley Obiora and the appointment of Chairman and member of the Board of the Nigerian Communications Commission.

Dr. Kingsley Obiora was confirmed as Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Captain Musa Shuaibu Nuru as Director-General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority and Olabiyi Durojaiye as Nigerian Communications Commission Chairman.

The Nigerian Senate is just resuming for the new year from a Christmas and New Year recess, that lasted over a month.
